about

i haven't released a solo song for so long wow!! I hope you like it. it's a bit different from the other single I released, but I think it's a direction I'll be heading with in the rest my music.

this song has been a very slow work in progress. I would work on it every once in a while when I had free-time and it slowly started coming together. I wrote the lyrics a couple months ago before I finished the whole thing. it's about dreaming and things that aren't matching up with those dreams.

so if you like, please give me a follow, a download, maybe a nice message. share with your friends. thank you for every listen because it all means a lot to me. have a nice day.

lyrics

subscription, monthly loneliness
surgeon took the words out, words out your mouth
prescriptions, daily numbness
feeling happy only takes the sadness further down

(are we clear?)
(clear!)
(crystal clear?)
works forty to get by, school instead of sleep at night
(are we clear? hello?)
get out of town before the town gets you out

hopeless hoping
7 billion cigarettes
still try to make it work
subways burning
7 dollars and a half
for 1200 something breaths

then the rest just go to waste
catch it in the haze break
five-minute escape
go grocery window shopping
never felt less alive
(could you reset that last line?)

listening, daily news
same as everyday but new vocabulary’s used

hopeless hoping
7 billion cigarettes
still try to make it work
subways burning
7 dollars and a half
for 1200 something breaths

then the rest just go to waste
catch it in the haze break
five-minute escape
go grocery window shopping
never felt less alive
(could you reset that last line?)
